Who we are
About me
founder of RAW Illustrations
Ricky Williams
I specialize in creating high-quality patent drawings for intellectual property attorneys, law firms, and corporations across the United States. With a background in Mechanical Engineering and years of experience in the patent industry, I understand both the technical details of complex inventions and the strict visual requirements set by the USPTO. My goal is simple. I help patent professionals move their applications forward efficiently by providing precise, compliant, and professional illustrations. I am highly familiar with USPTO standards and the expectations outlined in the MPEP, which allows me to deliver drawings that minimize rejections and reduce back-and-forth during prosecution. Over the years, I have worked with attorneys ranging from solo practitioners to some of the largest IP law firms in the country. I pride myself on being responsive, reliable, and easy to work with. Many of my clients have trusted me for years because they know they can count on consistent quality and fast turnaround times. RAW Illustrations was built on the belief that patent drawings should not slow down the prosecution process. They should support it. My focus is on providing attorneys with a dependable illustration partner who understands their workflow, communicates clearly, and delivers results they can trust.

Input Request Details
Send your materials, which may include photographs, CAD files, informal sketches, marked-up figures, or draft specifications. You can also include any specific instructions, figure requests, or filing deadlines. The more information provided, the more efficiently the drawings can be completed.
Understanding Your Requirements
Each request is carefully reviewed to ensure a complete understanding of the invention and its visual requirements. Any missing details or potential compliance issues are identified early, and clarification is requested if needed. This ensures the drawings accurately reflect the invention and align with USPTO standards.
